At The Abbey Primary School, we expect all pupils to wear appropriate school uniform and ask parents to support our dress code. We believe that uniform is smart, gives the school an identity and helps children develop a sense of belonging.

 

School Uniform

Children are expected to wear:

• Polo shirt - White or red
• School trousers or shorts - Grey or black (leggings and tracksuit trousers are not permitted)
• Skirt or pinafore dress - Grey or black (knee length)
• Summer dress - Red and white stripe/check
• Sweatshirt or cardigan - Red (school logo optional)
• Fleece - Red (school logo optional)
• Socks or tights - White, black or grey
• Shoes - Black (trainers are not permitted)
• Brigade can also supply fleece jackets with the school logo; however, purchasing these is optional.

 

PE Kit

For PE, children are expected to wear:

• PE T-shirt - House colour or white (school logo optional)
• Jumper/tracksuit top for outdoor PE - Plain black, navy or dark grey
• Tracksuit trousers or shorts - Plain black, navy or dark grey
• Plimsolls or trainers - Black or white

On PE days, children should come to school wearing their PE kit.

 

Labelling Clothing

Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child's name.

 

Ordering School Uniform

School sweatshirts, cardigans and PE T-shirts with the school logo can be ordered directly from Brigade.
