School Performance

Ofsted

The school last received an Ofsted inspection in March 2023, when the school was judged to be a ‘Good’ school with 'Outstanding' elements.  The inspection report is available on the Ofsted website Inspection report.

In our March 2023 report Ofsted said:

'Parents and carers overwhelmingly agree that this a happy, caring and inclusive school in which pupils can learn' and 'Pupils behave exceptionally well. They are fully engaged in their learning.'

Ofsted also publishes a Data Dashboard report, which can be viewed by clicking this link Data Dashboard. The School Data Dashboard report provides a snapshot of school performance at Key Stages 1 and 2. This report complements the Ofsted school inspection report by providing an analysis of school performance over a three-year period.

Data can be filtered by key stage or by topic:

  • Expected progress
  • Attainment
  • Attendance
  • Closing the gap between disadvantaged and other pupils
  • Context

Ofsted welcomes feedback from parents using the Parent View website.  Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. A screencast, demonstrating how to register and complete a survey on Parent View, is available on the How to use Parent View link here.

School Performance Tables

The Department for Education publishes a performance table for the school based on KS2 results, the school characteristics and spend per pupil data.  The report can be found on the Department for Education website here Key Stage 2 results & School Performance Tables
